Surface tension is the force that causes drop of liquid turn into a
sphere in conditions of zero gravity (free fall). We can only observe
this effect for a fractions of a second when we watch raindrops or
water running from a tap.
When falling drop hits
the water surface it behaves like an elastic
trampoline. It bends in then springs throwing drop back in the air.
It's good time to take the picture.
For this picture we used
glass of milk. We shot it in the bright sunny
day to achieve maximum illumination and used extremely short shutter
speed to "freeze the time" as much as possible.
